You can make a flat tatting shuttle with this pattern.
Materials:
A container plastic lid.
A cutter.
A puncher (or a drill)
Procedure:
Draw shuttle.
Cut by the outline.
Punch the holes and make a cut from the holes to the outline of the shuttle
It´s ready to load and start tatting.
